Considering that Litvinenko was employed by Berezovsky at the time, and Berezovsky was waging some kind of political battle, the credibility of any statements made there is close to 0.Fedia Kriukovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13828661085177690720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869516198516738746.post-20810569820590035002008-01-18T08:42:00.000-08:002008-01-18T08:42:00.000-08:00Fedia,What do you make of allegations from Tom Par...Fedia,

What do you make of allegations from Tom Parfitt (Guardian),

http://www.guardian.co.uk/russia/article/0,,1957705,00.html

that "By his own admission, Litvinenko worked in an FSB unit that planned extrajudicial killings."

I tried finding more material on this on the Net, but I could find anything authoritative.akarlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08322298490656235467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869516198516738746.post-7165240651493229482007-05-04T10:09:00.000-07:002007-05-04T10:09:00.000-07:00The Litvienko story is one of many where there is ...The Litvienko story is one of many where there is reason to suspect behind-the-scenes financing and influence by an oligarch in exile trying to destroy Putin. I wish you would start a project to collect input about this topic. Examples: Berezovsky's role in financing Kasparov demonstrations; Gussinsky's influence on New Yorker editor David Remick (remember Lenin's Tomb?), Khordokovsky's substantial contribution to Carnegie.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869516198516738746.post-74722422111033973472007-02-02T11:05:00.000-08:002007-02-02T11:05:00.000-08:00Gee. These jour...Hmmm, so let me see if I understand.

These journalists employed by the Times of London, the Independent, ABC News, the LA Times and Reuters (among others) are "incompetent hacks" whilst REAL journalism is found right here on this blog, published and read by an utter nobody. And if only the world would wake up and stop reading all those "various newspapers" and starting reading this blog, THEN they'd see the REAL TRUTH about KGB employees, many of whom are not spies at all but merely "policemen."

And the fact that the FSB is "not known" to engage in a certain activity means it doesn't do it. If it did a thing, it would admit it.

And Litvinenko wasn't considered a traitor in Russia before Western media called him a spy. The fact that you defect and begin attacking the Kremlin means nothing to Russians, only whether Western sources call you a "spy" or not.

And what a spy "does" has nothing to do with what he "is" and whether he should be called a "spy" or not.

And Russia, losing 1 million from its population every year, with an average salary of $300 per person, knows perfectly well how to run its society, while the West is just a bunch of confused idiots in the fast lane to disaster. Russia is full of clever people who really "understand" things, while the West is full of morons.

And La Russophobe is silly and unimportant, which is why the post was dedicated to discussing her.

And little Fedia speaks English really, really well, and isn't the least bit defensive about it.

And this blog is the greatest in the whole wide world!

Have I got that right?La Russophobehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05672264388217953086noreply@blogger.com
